I’ve had serious surgery a couple of years ago effecting my balance and hearing, so walking outdoors is important. Unfortunately, I am also feeling the cold since then and Ottawa winters are not kind. My wife gave me one of these jackets for my 80th birthday, this is my second winters in my “sherpa jacket” and nothing in my collection of winter jackets can measure up to it. Not even Ottawa winters can make me cold in my sherpa jacket.
(I am still sane enough - and old to know better - than to venture outside in -31C, or even below -20C.)
P.s.: As a personal aside, I have a sister living in Auckland, NZ, so “new zeeland wool” brings back wonderful memories of that beautiful country each time I put on the jacket.

I know my partner very well, he will love this jacket.
It appears to be very well made, no slipped stitching, no openings where there shouldn't be, etc. And it looks really warm. He'll love it, I'm sure.
