About our Carpet & Kilim Collection
Yes, all our carpets and kilims are sourced directly from artisans in Egypt and Afghanistan who adhere to traditional crafting techniques. We ensure ethical sourcing practices and support fair trade principles.
We recommend regular vacuuming and occasional professional cleaning for our carpets and kilims. Avoid direct sunlight exposure to prevent fading, and rotate the rug periodically to even out wear.
Due to the nature of the countries where we source our authentic kilims and rugs we primarily offer ready-made designs purchased from the artisans or suppliers on our buying trips.
Some of our home good are rather large and for pickup only but the majority can be shipped at your convenience. We do offer local delivery for a fee for bigger pieces. Long distance shipping can be arranged through a third-party carrier and added to the price.
