From the Pink City to Handcrafted Beauty: Anneka & Dave in Jaipur
Anneka and Dave’s 2026 buying journey continues in Jaipur, the iconic Pink City of India. From the moment they arrived, they were immersed in a world of colour, craftsmanship, and culture—where every corner holds inspiration and every street leads to a new discovery.

Wandering through Jaipur’s bustling markets and tucked-away workshops, they spent their days meeting with talented artisans and carefully selecting pieces that reflect both tradition and creativity. This stop has been especially exciting for its focus on textiles—where centuries-old techniques meet fresh, thoughtful design.

They’ve hand-selected a stunning range of hand-block printed goods, including rugs, pillow covers, tablecloths, napkins, tea towels, runners, and cloth bags. Each item is thoughtfully designed, with unique patterns and colour combinations inspired by the vibrant energy of Jaipur itself. Behind every piece is a story—of skilled hands, time-honoured techniques, and artisans who continue to preserve their craft generation after generation.

One of the most unforgettable moments of their time in Jaipur was visiting the breathtaking Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of the Winds. Built in 1799, this architectural masterpiece features hundreds of intricate windows, or jharokhas, which allowed royal women to observe life in the city while remaining unseen. Standing before it, Anneka and Dave were struck by the beauty of its design and the way history lives on through every detail.
Jaipur has been a city full of inspiration—where colour, history, and craftsmanship come together in perfect harmony. Each piece sourced here carries a little bit of that magic, ready to find a new home at One World Bazaar this season.
